The investment seeks investment results that correspond generally to the price and yield performance of the Barclays U.S. Treasury Inflation Protected Securities (TIPS) Index (Series-L). The fund generally invests at least 90% of its assets in the bonds of the underlying index and at least 95% of its assets in U.S. government bonds. The underlying index measures the performance of the inflation-protected public obligations of the U.S. Treasury. Inflation-protected public obligations of the U.S. Treasury, commonly known as "TIPS," are securities issued by the U.S. Treasury that are designed to provide inflation protection to investors.
