Thousands expected to take part in annual events happening at Life Time clubs nationwide
CHANHASSEN, Minn., Oct. 10, 2025 /PRNewswire/ -- Life Time (NYSE: LTH), the nation's premier healthy lifestyle brand, today announced the return of GO90, a fundraiser workout across its athletic country clubs benefiting Augie's Quest to Cure ALS and the Life Time Foundation. The event invites participants to celebrate the gift of movement while raising funds to advance ALS research and help give children the opportunity to experience the joy of being active. This year's event, GO90: Move with Meaning, will happen on Saturday, October 25 at 9:00 a.m. at Life Time destinations across North America.
GO90: Move with Meaning features a 90-minute workout challenge and a post-event social at each participating Life Time location for a $25 donation. The length of the classes was thoughtfully chosen in recognition that someone is diagnosed with ALS roughly every 90 minutes. 100% of funds raised will be split equally among Augie's Quest to Cure ALS and the Life Time Foundation. In its 2024 debut, GO90 raised $253,000 for the causes.
Anyone can take part in GO90: Move with Meaning. Life Time members can register at their club on the Life Time App. Nonmembers can register at this link. For those unable to participate yet want to support the efforts, donations are also being accepted linked here.
"Every dollar raised during GO90 provides hope for those impacted by ALS and healthier futures for kids across the country," said Sarah Emola, Director of the Life Time Foundation. "Our Life Time Foundation's mission connects powerfully with Augie's Quest to Cure ALS, which fuels ALS research while encouraging those impacted by the disease, and our commitment to help children live healthier lives through movement and healthy nourishment completes this movement. Together, these causes demonstrate the incredible positive impact movement can have at every stage of life."
"Augie's Quest to Cure ALS is honored to partner with the Life Time Foundation to create a healthier future through GO90," said Gretchen Simoneaux, Vice President of Augie's Quest to Cure ALS. "ALS affects how nerve cells communicate with muscles and leads to muscle weakness that can affect how you move, speak and breathe. Military personnel and high performing athletes are diagnosed with ALS at much higher rates than the general population. Funds from GO90 will help us identify the underlying biological mechanisms and risk triggers contributing to this elevated incidence. We are thankful for Life Time, their team members and members for supporting our Quest."
The Life Time Foundation was established by Life Time, Inc. in 2011 to inspire Healthy People, a Healthy Planet, and a Healthy Way of Life. Through financial grants and direct action, the Life Time Foundation supports Youth Nutrition by helping schools serve wholesome, nourishing, minimally processed food to students; Youth Movement by championing physical movement programs that get children active and excited to move for life; and a Healthy Planet by supporting forestation and conservation initiatives, so everyone can live healthy, happy lives.
Augie's Quest to Cure ALS is dedicated to supporting ALS research and empowering hope for a future without the disease by accelerating research, enhancing patient care and raising awareness in the fight to cure ALS. The nonprofit organization was founded by Augie Nieto, a former athlete who founded the organization in 2005 following his own diagnosis with ALS that same year. Nieto cofounded the fitness equipment company Life Fitness that many Life Time members are likely familiar with from using the machines in the company's athletic country clubs. After his passing in 2023, Life Time committed to supporting his legacy by hosting GO90 fundraising events not only for ALS research, but to honor movement for life.
