Tuya Inc. (NYSE:TUYA) stock rose Monday after the company unveiled Aura, its first AI-powered pet companion robot, at CES 2026 on Sunday.
Details
Aura uses behavior analysis and sound recognition to detect a pet’s emotional state and sends real-time updates to owners’ smartphones, keeping them connected and informed even when apart.
Aura can accurately interpret a pet’s emotional state, whether it is excited, anxious, lonely, or relaxed, the company said.
Leveraging AI-driven pet recognition and intelligent tracking, Aura automatically records pets’ moments and can create short videos, letting owners capture memories and deepen their bond.
Aura integrates with Tuya’s developer ecosystem and local lifestyle service network, offering smart pet boarding, healthcare, behavior training, grooming, personalization, and community engagement, creating a comprehensive platform for pet-focused living.
Tuya said Aura represents a broader push toward “physical AI,” extending beyond pet care into future applications such as elder care, home monitoring, and family connectivity.
