Agilysys Stock Falls After Q3 Earnings Miss: Details

Agilysys Inc. (NASDAQ:AGYS) shares fell in Monday's extended trading after the company released its third quarter earnings report, missing EPS estimates.

Here's a look at the key figures from the quarter. 

The Details: Agilysys reported quarterly earnings of 42 cents per share, which missed the consensus estimate of 46 cents, according to estimates from Benzinga Pro.

Quarterly revenue came in at $80.39 million, which beat the analyst consensus estimate of $79.03 million and was up from revenue of $69.56 million from the same period last year.

  • Recurring revenue (comprised of subscription and maintenance charges) was $52 million, or 64.7% of total net revenue, compared to $44.4 million, or 63.8% of total net revenue for the same period last year.
  • Subscription revenue increased 23.1% year-over-year and was 67% of total recurring revenue.
  • Gross margin was 62.5% in the quarter compared to 63.% in the comparable prior-year period.

“Q3 Fiscal 2026 revenue was a record $80.4 million, the 16th consecutive record revenue quarter, with 15.6% year-over-year total revenue growth driven by subscription revenue growth of 23.1%,” Ramesh Srinivasan, CEO of Agilysys, commented.

AGYS Stock Price: According to data from Benzinga Pro, Agilysys stock dropped 14.05% to $97.60 in Monday's extended trading.
