Defense stocks are rallying on Monday after the attacks carried out by the U.S. against Iran over the weekend. Multiple members of Congress are among the shareholders of several of the top-performing defense stocks on Monday.
• Lockheed Martin stock is challenging resistance. What’s behind LMT new highs?
Shares of Lockheed Martin Corp (NYSE:LMT) and RTX Corp (NYSE:RTX) hit all-time highs on Monday after the U.S. attacked Iran. President Donald Trump signaled that the attacks could last for "four to five weeks" and that the "big wave" attack is still to come, comments that are sending defense stocks higher.
Palantir Technologies (NASDAQ:PLTR), a key company contracted by the U.S. government and military agencies, is also seeing shares trade higher Monday, up 6.5%.
Here's a look at the Congress members who own shares of these three stocks.

Rep. Rob Bresnahan (R-Pa.)
Rep. Gilbert Cisneros (D-Calif.)
Rep. James Comer (R-Tenn.)
Rep. Cleo Fields (D-La.)
Rep. Lisa McClain (R-Mich.)
Benzinga previously shared that McClain reported several transactions late in 2025, potentially violating the STOCK Act. In August, the congresswoman disclosed selling $50,000 to $100,000 in Palantir stock on Oct. 23, 2024, and disclosed buying $100,000 to $250,000 in Palantir stock on Nov. 7, 2024.
Members of Congress who own Lockheed Martin, RTX and Palantir stock could find themselves profiting from the continued efforts against Iran as more missiles, planes and defense items are used to continue the attacks.
Some of the members who own shares of these defense stocks serve on committees related to defense and Homeland Security and could find themselves with inside information on attacks ahead of time.
Some of the members named above own shares in two or three of the stocks, which could position them to be big winners from a prolonged effort.
Public comments from members of Congress on the war who own shares of defense stocks could see increased scrutiny.
Members of Congress listed above may have sold their shares since the time of the filings in 2025.
