The company on Tuesday morning also entered into a definitive agreement with a new institutional investor to raise approximately $15 million in a private placement at $5.50 per share or prefunded warrant, implying a modest discount to recent trading levels and potentially signaling external confidence in its asset base and drilling inventory.
After fees, Battalion expects to receive net proceeds of roughly $14.1 million, earmarked for working capital and general corporate purposes, providing incremental liquidity for development and potential bolt-on opportunities.
