By Henry Khederian | March 03, 2026, 10:46 AM

Shares of Red Cat Holdings Inc (NASDAQ:RCAT) are higher in early Tuesday trading, extending Monday's sharp rally as investors continue to react to escalating conflict in the Middle East and fresh partnership news for the military-drone company. Here’s what investors need to know.

Hezbollah, Iran Escalate Cross-Border Attacks

The move in Red Cat shares follows a joint U.S.–Israel strike on Iran over the weekend that has sparked days of retaliatory fire and renewed focus on defense and security stocks.

The conflict backdrop has intensified through Tuesday. Hezbollah said it fired missiles at an Israeli site in the Upper Galilee, while Israel reported Iranian missile strikes in central parts of the country.

Regional allies are on high alert: the United Arab Emirates said its forces have been intercepting large numbers of Iranian drones and missiles, and the U.S. embassies in Saudi Arabia and Kuwait halted most services and urged Americans to shelter in place amid warnings of possible attacks.

Red Cat Expands Defense Tech Consortium

Against this backdrop, Red Cat on Monday announced that Allen Control Systems has joined its Red Cat Futures Initiative, a consortium aimed at speeding deployment of autonomous and counter-drone technologies.

The companies plan to integrate Allen's Bullfrog autonomous counter-drone system with Red Cat's secure intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance platforms, starting with its Blue Ops maritime division.

Red Cat Stock Swings Higher

The stock has recently rebounded strongly, trading above its key moving averages as momentum builds in recent sessions.
