  • Same-store operating expenses excluding credit card fees were up 4.6% in the quarter.

CEO Darren Rebelez stated, “Our high quality inside offering, along with a compelling value proposition, continues to attract guests to our stores. On the fuel side, the team had another sound quarter, expanding fuel margin while reporting positive same-store gallon growth. All of this was anchored by our store level operations team, who continue to meet our guests’ needs in an efficient manner.”

Dividend

The board approved a quarterly dividend of 57 cents per share payable on May 15 to shareholders of record on May 1, 2026.

Outlook

The company expects fiscal 2026 EBITDA growth of 18%–20% and inside same-store sales growth of 3.5%–4.5%.

Casey’s projects total operating expenses growth of about 10% and same-store fuel gallons sold growth of -1% and +1%.

The Ankeny, Iowa-based company anticipates about 80 new stores in fiscal 2026. That brings the three-year strategic plan total to roughly 500 stores.
