By Nabaparna Bhattacharya | March 10, 2026, 11:05 AM

Starfighters Space (NYSE:FJET) shares are trading lower on Tuesday as the company announced a strategic partnership with Mu-G Technologies to pursue microgravity flight missions.

This collaboration aims to support NASA, academic institutions, and commercial research customers, enhancing Starfighters’ operational capabilities in a growing aerospace market.

Together, the companies intend to expand access to reduced-gravity testing environments amid increasing demand from government and commercial space programs.

Starfighters is responding to a recent NASA Flight Opportunities “Sources Sought” notice, which seeks providers of parabolic flight services for technology development in reduced gravity.

The partnership with Mu-GTech aims to expand access to microgravity testing environments, with plans to conduct flight validation and data collection to assess operational performance and commercial scalability.

“This partnership reflects our commitment to expanding the ways we deploy our high-performance aircraft to serve growing aerospace and space technology markets,” said CEO Tim Franta. “By combining our operational capabilities with Mu-GTech’s parabolic flight expertise, we are positioning Starfighters to support increased demand for reliable microgravity testing.”

The companies intend to leverage their combined expertise to enhance the quality of reduced-gravity environments, potentially allowing for longer-duration parabolas for research purposes

Technical Analysis

The stock is currently trading 16.6% above its 20-day simple moving average (SMA) but is 8.3% below its 50-day SMA, indicating mixed short-term momentum. Shares have decreased 7.65% over the past 12 months and are currently positioned closer to their 52-week lows than highs, suggesting some challenges in maintaining upward momentum.
