By Fiona Craig | July 20, 2026, 8:32 AM

Boxabl Inc. (NASDAQ:BXBL) shares surged 20% on Monday during the company’s first trading session on the Nasdaq Stock Market after completing its business combination with FG Merger II Corp. (NASDAQ:FGMC).

The modular housing manufacturer officially began trading under the ticker symbol “BXBL” after shareholders approved the merger, completing its transition from a private business to a publicly listed company.

According to the company, Boxabl has secured more than $230 million in funding from over 50,000 investors, providing capital to support the expansion of its modular housing business.

The company is best known for its 361-square-foot Casita, a factory-built studio home equipped with a full kitchen, bathroom and utility connections. The unit is engineered to unfold and become operational in less than an hour after arriving on site. Boxabl also manufactures the 120-square-foot Baby Box and is developing modular designs that can be stacked or connected to create larger housing developments, including townhomes and multifamily properties.

Boxabl markets its modular construction technology as a more affordable and faster alternative to conventional homebuilding, aiming to reduce construction timelines while helping address housing supply challenges.
