Two new recurring physical crude oil agreements expand Vivakor’s marketing platform to more than $1.09 billion in annualized commercial activity while increasing marketed volumes.
Vivakor (NASDAQ:VIVK) announced two new recurring physical crude oil purchase and sale programs through its wholly owned subsidiary, Vivakor Supply & Trading (VST). The agreements are expected to contribute approximately $384 million in annualized commercial activity, bringing the company’s announced physical crude oil marketing platform above $1.09 billion on current market pricing assumptions.
The contracts cover recurring crude oil transactions at the Cushing and Midland terminals, adding approximately 400,000 barrels of marketed crude oil per month, or 4.8 million barrels annually. The agreements are scheduled to run from August 1, 2026, through July 31, 2027.
According to the company, the expanded commercial programs are designed to strengthen its integrated energy infrastructure by complementing its existing transportation, storage, and terminaling operations.
Crossing the $1 billion annualized commercial activity threshold marks another step in Vivakor’s effort to scale its physical crude oil marketing business alongside its broader midstream operations.
The announcement suggests the company continues to expand commercial relationships and increase throughput across its infrastructure network. Higher marketed volumes may enhance asset utilization while reinforcing the strategic role of its Cushing and Midland operations within its integrated business model.
However, investors should distinguish between commercial activity and financial results. Vivakor emphasized that, as a physical commodity intermediary, it recognizes only a small portion of total contract value as gross profit. As a result, reported revenue and earnings from these agreements could differ significantly from the headline commercial activity figures and remain dependent on commodity prices, transaction structures, delivered volumes, and market conditions.
