Monday, Aug. 3 brings the July ISM manufacturing index. Palantir Technologies (PLTR) is due to report earnings after the close.
Tuesday, Aug. 4 features June JOLTS job openings and the June trade balance. Caterpillar (CAT), Merck (MRK), McDonald's (MCD), and Pfizer (PFE) report before the open, while Advanced Micro Devices (AMD) and Amgen (AMGN) report after the close.
Wednesday, Aug. 5 brings the July ADP employment report and the July ISM services index. Eli Lilly and Walt Disney (DIS) report before the open.
Thursday, Aug. 6 features weekly jobless claims and Challenger job-cut data. ConocoPhillips (COP) reports before the open.
