Semiconductor stock GlobalFoundries Inc (NASDAQ:GFS) undercut and retook its 200-day moving average. This area coincides with the shares’ year-to-date anchored volume weighted average price (AVWAP). There’s also peak put open interest at the 50 strike, home to February 2026 highs where we saw price action bottom out and run nearly 80% into May highs.

Per its Schaeffer’s put/call open interest ratio (SOIR) sitting in the 78th percentile of its annual range, there’s a put skew among short term options traders. Current Max Pain positioning pushes from $60 in August to $70 by October expiration, so we could see price drift higher in the coming weeks/months.

Options are affordably priced though, per GFS’ Schaeffer’s Volatility Index (SVI) sitting in the 21st percentile of its annual range.

Our recommended call option has a leverage ratio of 4.0, and will double in value on a 25.7% move from the underlying equity.
