Analog Devices Rises as Third-Quarter Results and Q4 Forecast Top Estimates

Analog Devices (NASDAQ:ADI) shares gained more than 1% in Wednesday premarket trading after the semiconductor company delivered better-than-expected fiscal third-quarter results and issued a fourth-quarter outlook above Wall Street forecasts, supported by strength in its data centre and industrial businesses.

For the third quarter, Analog Devices reported earnings per share of $3.45, exceeding the analyst consensus of $3.34 by $0.11. Revenue climbed 40% from a year earlier to $4.02 billion, also beating expectations of $3.91 billion, with Data Center and Industrial driving the increase.

The stock extended its gains to nearly 2% in premarket trading by 07:07 ET (11:07 GMT) as investors responded to the stronger results and forward guidance.

For the fourth quarter of fiscal 2026, Analog Devices expects earnings per share of between $3.71 and $4.01, comfortably above the $3.55 consensus estimate. Revenue is forecast at $4.2 billion to $4.4 billion, compared with Wall Street expectations of $4.08 billion.

At the midpoint of its fourth-quarter revenue range, the company anticipates an adjusted operating margin of approximately 52.0%, with a potential variation of plus or minus 100 basis points.
