The acquisition increased Wilson’s indirect ownership through the One Fish Two Fish Revocable Trust to 479,194 shares.

Insider Purchase Draws Investor Attention
The scale of Wilson’s purchase attracted attention from investors ahead of Tuesday’s opening bell, helping send Kura Oncology shares sharply higher in pre-market trading.
Insider buying can be closely watched by market participants because executives committing their own capital to a company may be interpreted as a sign of confidence in its longer-term prospects. Such transactions, however, do not guarantee future share-price performance.
In Kura Oncology’s case, the $1.24 million investment is particularly notable given that it was made by the company’s president and chief executive and materially increased his exposure to the stock.
The market’s immediate reaction was positive, with Kura Oncology shares gaining 11.0% before the opening bell as investors assessed the significance of the CEO’s increased stake.
