Retailer Roaring Higher After Earnings
Clothing retailer Abercrombie & Fitch Co (NYSE:ANF) is charging higher this afternoon, up 38%, pacing for its best daily performance on record and its highest close since mid-January.
Abercrombie reported a second-quarter sales and profit beat, with earnings of $4.17 per share on revenue of $1.27 billion. Adding to the sentiment, a hike to its full-year net sales outlook.
Meta Agrees to Settle Once Again
Amid another legal battle, Meta Platforms Inc (NASDAQ:META) is up 2% after the social media conglomerate agreed to settle its latest child safety lawsuit for roughly $18 billion.
The California-based trial comes mere months after the company was ordered to pay $1 billion for a New Mexico case that required limits be placed upon youth using the site. META has shed 11.8% in 2026 so far.
