Everspin and Teledyne HiRel Partner to Offer MRAM for Aerospace and Defense Applications

By Fiona Craig | September 02, 2026, 8:31 AM

Everspin Technologies (NASDAQ:MRAM) and Teledyne HiRel Semiconductors, a unit of Teledyne Technologies (NYSE:TDY), announced a partnership to make Everspin’s PERSYST spin-transfer torque MRAM available through Teledyne HiRel’s memory product portfolio for aerospace and defense customers.

The collaboration will initially focus on Everspin’s 256Mb PERSYST STT-MRAM and will also cover the company’s 64Mb and 128Mb PERSYST products.

Partnership Targets Aerospace and Defense Systems

PERSYST STT-MRAM is a non-volatile memory technology designed to retain stored data during power loss and system resets while providing RAM-like write speeds.

The companies identified potential applications including avionics, radar systems, electronic warfare payloads, satellite electronics, VPX platforms, single-board computers and autonomous systems.

The agreement expands the channels through which aerospace and defense customers can access Everspin’s PERSYST products.

Teledyne HiRel to Provide Qualification and Supply Support

Under the partnership, Teledyne HiRel will provide services including product screening, qualification documentation, procurement assistance and obsolescence management.

Products will be shipped from Teledyne HiRel’s facility in Milpitas, California.

Customer availability is expected to begin in the fourth quarter of 2026. The timetable represents the companies’ current expectation and remains subject to implementation and other business conditions.

“By adding Everspin’s PERSYST STT-MRAM to our non-volatile memory portfolio, we give customers a qualified path to specify persistent memory for their most critical applications,” said Mont Taylor, Vice President of Business Development at Teledyne HiRel Semiconductors.

Everspin Highlights Screening and Supply Continuity

Sanjeev Aggarwal, President and CEO of Everspin Technologies, said the partnership will provide customers with access to Teledyne HiRel’s screening capabilities and supply continuity for programmes operating over extended timelines.

The companies did not disclose financial terms for the partnership or provide revenue expectations associated with the agreement in the supplied information.
