Dow Inc. (NYSE:DOW) is considering options for its stake in a $20 billion chemicals venture with Saudi Aramco, including a potential exit, Bloomberg News reported, citing people familiar with the matter.
According to the report, the review forms part of Dow’s efforts to restructure its portfolio during a prolonged downturn in the chemicals industry.
Dow held a 35% stake in Sadara Chemical Co. as of last year, with Saudi Aramco owning the remaining interest.
