Oracle Stock Selloff Drags Nasdaq Triple Digits

Skyrocketing Treasury yields and a steep Oracle (ORCL) selloff are dragging all three major indexes lower at midday. The tech giant was last seen down 4.5%, after the company cited a “force majeure” regarding its developing data center in New Mexico. The Nasdaq Composite Index (IXIC) is down 202 points in response. Meanwhile, the 30-year Treasury yield earlier hit a 22-year peak of 5.44%, while the 10-year yield touched a nine-year high of its own. The Dow Jones Industrial Average (DJI) and S&P 500 Index (SPX) are notably lower as well, as investors continue to monitor the possibility of an October interest rate hike.

Unity Software Inc (NYSE:U) is trading 1.2% lower at $43.58 this afternoon, falling with the broader tech sector and slipping further below its year-to-date breakeven mark. Currently 80,820 contracts have been exchanged so far, 3.2 times the average daily rate. Most popular looks to be the October 46 call, with 27,000 contracts exchanged so far.

Everpure Inc (NYSE:P) is the top stock on the New York Stock Exchange (NYSE) today, up 18% at $129.37, after the company said it expects revenue growth to increase as AI margins widen for hyperscaler businesses. A slew of bull notes have surfaced in response, with the equity now up 92% for 2026 and earlier hitting a record high of $131.41.

Bloom Energy Corp (NYSE:BE) is moving lower alongside ORCL. It was also reported that Bloom’s Chief Operating Officer Chitoori Satish sold roughly $775,000 worth of shares. Despite today’s steep bear gap, BE remains 194% higher year-to-date, with underlying support emerging at the 20-day moving average.
