President of Kroger Health Colleen Lindholz announces retirement after 31 years of service

CINCINNATI, Sept. 25, 2026 /PRNewswire/ -- The Kroger Co. (NYSE:KR) announced today that Colleen Lindholz, president of Kroger Health, will retire after more than three decades with the company.

Colleen joined Kroger as a pharmacist in the Cincinnati-Dayton division in 1995. From there, she held several pharmacy roles in the division, including manager, coordinator, sales promoter, recruiter and merchandiser. Colleen was promoted to director of Pharmacy Sales and Marketing in 2013 and President and CEO of the Little Clinic in 2015. Colleen was named president of Kroger Health in 2017. During her time at Kroger, Colleen has been credited as the architect of the company's Food as Medicine strategy as well as creating the Nourishing Change movement.

Colleen is the recipient of Kroger's Chairman's Award, Kroger Leadership Award and Progressive Grocer's Top Women in Grocery Rising Star Award. Colleen was recognized as one of the "Most Inspirational Female Leaders of the Year" in 2018 by the Break the Ceiling Women in Leadership Summit. In 2020, Colleen was named one of the "Most Influential Women in Retailing" by Mass Market Research. She was also recognized as one of Modern Healthcare's top women leaders in 2023 and an MMR Influential Woman in 2024 and 2025. Under her leadership, Kroger Health was named the 2022 Mass Market Retailer's Retailer of the Year and Kroger Family of Pharmacies were recognized as a Forbes Best Customer Service Company.

Colleen was the Chair of the National Association of Chain Drug Stores (NACDS) and is the Executive Chair of AHA's Heart Mini. She also serves as the Chair of the Easterseals Redwood Board of Directors of Greater Cincinnati.

Colleen earned a bachelor's degree in pharmacy from the University of Cincinnati.
