Robinhood Markets (NASDAQ:HOOD) introduced a series of new products for active traders at its annual Summit event, including artificial intelligence tools, perpetual futures and expanded round-the-clock equity trading.
Deutsche Bank maintained its Buy rating and $134 price target on Robinhood following the company’s “Engines of Creation” event, which was held on Monday and Tuesday.
Chief Executive Vlad Tenev and the company’s management team presented several additions to the Robinhood platform, including Robinhood Agents, an AI-native experience designed for its customers.
The brokerage also launched perpetual futures and company financial KPI event contracts for U.S. customers and expanded equity trading to operate 24 hours a day, seven days a week, including weekends.
Robinhood Adds AI-Native Agents
Robinhood Agents was among the products introduced during the annual event as the company expands its use of artificial intelligence across its platform.
Deutsche Bank described the broader set of product launches as part of Robinhood’s efforts to provide its retail customers with tools similar to those available to institutional market participants.
The bank said the announcements also demonstrate an increase in the pace of Robinhood’s product development.
Deutsche Bank highlighted artificial intelligence as one of several areas in which Robinhood continues to expand, alongside prediction markets, cryptocurrency trading and broader market access.
Perpetual Futures and KPI Event Contracts Added for U.S. Customers
Robinhood also introduced perpetual futures and company financial KPI event contracts for customers in the United States.
The additions expand the range of trading products available through the platform and form part of the company’s focus on active traders.
Deutsche Bank said Robinhood’s product offering is becoming broader and more complex as the company adds new asset classes and trading capabilities.
The bank expects the new initiatives to require time to reach scale and did not make changes to its financial estimates following the Summit.
Equity Trading Expands to 24 Hours a Day, Seven Days a Week
Robinhood also expanded equity trading on its platform to operate around the clock, including weekends.
The change extends access beyond conventional market hours and forms part of the company’s wider effort to increase the range of market access available to its customers.
Deutsche Bank identified market access as another area of continued development for Robinhood alongside AI, prediction markets and cryptocurrency.
The bank said the expanding range of products and increasing complexity of the platform could lead to greater customer engagement and increase Robinhood’s share of users’ overall trading activity.
Deutsche Bank Maintains Buy Rating and $134 Target
Deutsche Bank retained its Buy rating and $134 price target on Robinhood following the company’s annual Summit.
The bank viewed the new products as evidence of Robinhood’s increasing product development speed and its continued expansion into additional areas of financial markets and technology.
However, Deutsche Bank noted that the initiatives will require time to develop sufficient scale.
The bank left its financial estimates for Robinhood unchanged following the event.
