Futures on the Dow Jones Industrial Average (DJI) and Nasdaq-100 Index (NDX) are climbing triple digits this morning, as Treasury yields pivot into the red alongside sinking West Texas Intermediate (WTI) crude. Oil slid to $87 per barrel after President Donald Trump signed an executive order to allow the use of red-dyed diesel on highways to offset recent price spikes. The S&P 500 Index (SPX) is also comfortably higher before the open, with a boost stemming from an upbeat chip sector. Investors are awaiting the release of the September Federal Open Market Committee (FOMC) meeting minutes, due out Wednesday at 2 p.m. ET.

- The Cboe Option Exchange saw roughly 2.5 million call contracts and 1.5 million put contracts traded on Monday. The single-session equity put/call ratio rose to 0.59, while the 21-day moving average remained at 0.59.
- Alphabet Inc (NASDAQ:GOOGL) is rising 0.5% in premarket trading, after Google revealed its new partnership with Constellation Energy (CEG), which will support a more than $4.3 billion investment in the renewable power giant. Over the past 12 months, GOOGL has added 41%.
- Lennar Corporation (NYSE:LEN) is climbing 1.4% before the bell, after Berkshire Hathaway (BRK.A) disclosed its purchase of 2.4 million shares of the homebuilding name. LEN has struggled this year, yesterday hitting a four-year low of $73.75, now off 27% for 2026.
- Consumer goods producer Procter & Gamble Co (NYSE:PG) is up 1.3% ahead of the open, after landing an upgrade to "outperform" from "in line" and price-target hike to $166 from $161 at Evercore ISI. The firm cited PG's Q1 will likely end downside risk. PG is currently working its way further above its year-to-date breakeven mark.

European Markets Enjoy Healthy Gains
Asian markets finished the session mixed as Chinese stocks were closed for the Golden week holiday. Elsewhere, Japan’s Nikkei gained 1.1%, Hong Kong’s Hang Seng added 1%, and South Korea’s Kospi dropped 0.9%.
European bourses are higher today as investors gear up for earnings season and attempt to shake off tax hike fears after a former chief economist of the Bank of England warned the nation is on “thin ice.” Global bond yields are easing as well. London’s FTSE is up 0.3%, while Germany’s DAX and France’s CAC are 0.6% and 0.5% higher, respectively.
