A resurgence in crude pricesand Treasury yields aredriving stocks lower today, with all eyes on the release of the Federal Reserve's September meeting minutes at 2pm ET. Below, we’ll take a closer look at three stocks making outsized moves on Wall Street today.
Analyst: Micron Could See 200% Upside
Shares of Micron Technology Inc (NASDAQ:MU) are climbing 2.5% at $1,071.06 after the chipmaker landed a price-target hike at D.A. Davidson to $3,000 from $2,100. This implies a roughly 200% upside, with the firm saying the broader market has vastly undervalued the multi-year growth opportunity.
MU has been consolidating around the $1,000 area since pulling back from its June 25 record high, up 274% for 2026. Adding support has been the ascending 80-day moving average.
Is It Time to Ditch QXO Stock?
QXO Inc (NYSE:QXO) is plummeting 9% this afternoon, after suffering a price-target cut at RBC. The firm slashed its price from $27 to $18, citing an overrun stockpile and low distribution.
QXO has been a chronic underperformer since hitting its February highs, now off 43% for 2026, earlier touching a fresh record low of $10.77.
Amazon Stock Climbs After Bull Note
Amazon.com (NASDAQ:AMZN) is trading 1.2% higher at $259.29 today, as investors back the tech behemoth in the AI networking race. New coverage from Yorkville Ives is also boosting sentiment, with an "outperform" rating and price target of $300.
AMZN has been recovering from a pullback from its early August record highs, sporting a 16% year-over-year lead. The $260 level has moved in as a ceiling of resistance, however, thwarting several breakout attempts since early September.
