ST. PETERSBURG, Fla., Oct. 8, 2026 /PRNewswire/ -- Duke Energy Florida is ready to respond as Hurricane Isaias threatens power outages across our service territory. Customers should prepare now, follow emergency management warnings and remain vigilant throughout the storm.

Restoring power after a storm can be challenging for repair crews, as travel and work conditions can be impacted by strong winds and potential flooding – making repair work lengthy and difficult in some areas.
