MCHP remains 17.6% higher for 2026, though the equity is now pacing for a fourth-straight daily loss.
Another SpaceX Victim Struggling Today
AST SpaceMobile Inc (NASDAQ:ASTS) is plummeting 10.1% this afternoon, after news of the SpaceX acquisition of Grain Managements' portfolio. The telecom giant has been struggling this week, now headed for a third-straight daily drop and its lowest close since November.
ASTS has lost nearly 30% in 2026, with several breakout attempts rejected by the overhead 50-day moving average.
AI Stock Stung By Growth Plans
Gorilla Technology Group Inc (NASDAQ:GRRR) is trading 12.4% lower at $10.49 today, as investors turn their noses up at news of the AI giant's acquisition of a U.S. data center, suggesting the plan as attention-grabbing and lacking financial plans.
Today's selloff has the shares gapping below the year-to-date breakeven level and back trading near its late-April lows. For the fourth quarter, GRRR has already shed 23%.
