Today's renewed tensions in the Middle East and rising crude prices have stocks struggling for direction early in the day. However, a few names are enjoying a mid-morning surge, after landing a fresh bull note. Let's take a closer look below.
CRM Stock Surges on Double Upgrade
Salesforce Inc (NYSE:CRM) is trading 4% higher after landing a Bank of America (BofA) double upgrade to "buy" from "underperform" and a hiked price target to $285 from $160, citing AI trend improvement.
CRM has shed 13.5% so far in 2026. However, should these gains hold, the equity will be eyeing a third-straight daily pop and will add more pressure to the overhead 20-day moving average.
Drug Stock Climbs on Heels of Bull Note
Biogen Inc (NASDAQ:BIIB) is up 3.3% this morning, after J.P. Morgan Securities handed out a bull note in the form of an upgrade to "overweight" from "neutral" and a price-target hike from $90 to $300. The firm said it sees driving growth and an upbeat drug outlook.
BIIB has climbed nearly 30% this calendar year, with long-term support stemming from the ascending 50-day moving average.
Truist Calls FSLR a "Buy"
First Solar Inc (NASDAQ:FSLR) is trading 2.9% higher at last glance, following an upgrade to "buy" from "hold" at Truist Securities, alongside a price-target hike to $270 from $229.
FSLR has been trading in a tight range below $180 since the stock's late-September pullback, hitting a new annual low of $168.60 on Oct. 1.
