By Liliana Orozco | October 15, 2026, 1:00 PM

Next week will bring a relatively light economic calendar, with flash U.S. manufacturing and services purchasing managers' index (PMI) data among the highlights. The earnings calendar will be anything but quiet, however, with a packed slate of reports from some of Wall Street's biggest names.

These include 3M (MMM), Abbott Laboratories (ABT), American Airlines (AAL), American Express (AXP), AT&T (T), Blackstone (BX), Bloom Energy (BE), Capital One Financial (COF), Cleveland-Cliffs (CLF), Comcast (CMCSA), Fifth Third Bancorp (FITB), GE Aerospace (GE), General Motors (GM), Honeywell International (HON), IBM (IBM), Lam Research (LRCX), Lockheed Martin (LMT), Meta Platforms (META), Netflix (NFLX), Philip Morris International (PM), Procter & Gamble (PG), Spotify (SPOT), Tesla (TSLA), Texas Instruments (TXN), United Airlines (UAL), and Western Digital (WDC), among many more.

Below is the schedule of key market events for the week ahead. All economic dates are tentative and subject to change.

Monday, October 19 will bring the NAHB housing market index.

Tuesday, October 20 is expected to feature housing starts and pending home sales data.

No major economic reports are currently listed for Wednesday, October 21.

Thursday, October 22 will feature weekly initial jobless claims, leading economic indicators, and the Kansas City Fed manufacturing survey.

Flash U.S. manufacturing and services PMI data is scheduled for Friday, October 23, alongside the final University of Michigan consumer sentiment survey.
