Global X Announces Forward Share Split of Global X NYSE 100 ETF

By Business Wire | October 16, 2026, 9:00 AM

NEW YORK--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Global X Management Company LLC (Global X), the New York-based provider of exchange-traded funds (ETFs), announced a five-for-one (5:1) forward share split (the “Share Split”) of the issued and outstanding shares of the Global X NYSE® 100 ETF (the "Fund"). In addition, the number of shares per creation unit will increase from 10,000 to 50,000.

This Share Split will apply to shareholders of record as of market close on October 28, 2026, payable after market close on October 29, 2026. The Share Split will be effective prior to market open on October 30, 2026, when the Fund will begin trading at its post-split price. The ticker symbol and CUSIP numbers for the Fund will not change.

As a result of the Share Split, each shareholder of record as of market close on October 28, 2026 will receive a proportional number of whole shares of the Fund with the same aggregate dollar value. Thus, the total dollar value of a shareholder’s investment in shares of the Fund will not change due to the Share Split, and each shareholder will continue to own approximately the same percentage (by value) of shares of the Fund immediately following the Share Split as the shareholder owned immediately prior to the Share Split.

The Share Split will not result in a material change in a shareholder’s proportional Fund ownership or voting rights as the shares received as part of the Share Split will provide a shareholder with approximately the same proportional Fund ownership and voting rights as the shares of the Fund owned prior to the Share Split. Each shareholder should consult with their own tax advisers with respect to the appropriate treatment of the receipt of such additional shares pursuant to the Share Split.

A lower per-share price may improve the Fund's marketability and trading experience and make the Fund's shares more accessible to a broader range of investors, including those who invest through brokerage platforms and across account types.
