The three major indexes are moving higher in this morning's trading session, as investors turn their focus to the start of the two-day Federal Open Market Committee (FOMC) meeting and a fresh batch of earnings. Below, we'll take a look at a few of those just out of the confessional, and see how they are faring on the charts.
Corning Stock Reverses Early Gains
Corning Inc (NYSE:GLW) is trading 2.4% lower this morning, erasing its early gains despite posting third-quarter earnings per share of 91 cents on revenue of $5.08 billion, both beating expectations.
The $125 floor remains a steadfast level of support and was a pivot point back in late July. Despite being more than 50% off its June 30 record high of $271, GLW remains up 43% in 2026.
Earnings Send Shipping Stock Higher
United Parcel Service Inc (NYSE:UPS) is moving 3% higher at last check, the shipping concern hiking its annual forecast and posting a Q3 profit beat. Quarterly revenue saw an impressive 6.7% lift, with earnings coming in at $1.69 per share.
UPS is trading at its highest level since early September, widening the gap from its year-to-date breakeven level. The $104 level could pose as overhead resistance, however, a site that has rejected multiple breakout attempts for UPS in 2026.
SoFi Stock Eyes Best Day Since April 2025
SoFi Technologies Inc (NASDAQ:SOFI) is up 15.7% at last check, gapping higher following the company's earnings and revenue beat, as membership numbers saw an impressive lift in Q3.
SOFI is eyeing its best daily pop since April 9, 2025, chipping away at its 37% year-to-date deficit. The shares are trading at their highest level in nearly one month.
