3 Major Players Seeing Heightened Options Attention

By Emma Duncan | October 29, 2026, 10:50 AM

The Alphabet-induced selloff is plaguing Wall Street today, overshadowing a slew of other big-name reports. Below, we'll take a look at three other names seeing varying post-earnings reactions, all of which are seeing major options attention.

NOW Stock Gaps Lower

  • ServiceNow Inc (NYSE:NOW) is down 24.1% at last glance, suffering a steep post-earnings bear gap after posting a Q3 earnings miss of $1 per share, though revenue did beat estimates at $4.10 billion. A lighter-than-anticipated Q4 outlook is also dinging the stock. NOW is headed for a fourth-straight daily drop and its worst day on record.

  • More than 104,000 contracts have been traded so far today, with investors eyeing the November 120 call and the October 120 call. There is a net positive delta volume of 98,654, with 53.8% of this accounting for bullish pressure.

Blue-Chip Earnings Disappoint

  • Caterpillar Inc (NYSE:CAT) is 7.9% lower, after the blue-chip giant reported a third-quarter earnings of $7.20 per share on revenue of $20.68 billion. The latter missed estimates, triggering today's slide. CAT is headed for its worst daily performance since April 2025 and lowest close since January.

  • More than 15,000 contracts have been traded so far today, with investors eyeing the weekly 10/30 660-strike call and the December 800 call. There is a net positive delta volume of 50,158 with 69.1% of this accounting for bullish pressure.

Microsoft Stock Q3 Overlooked

  • Microsoft Corp (NASDAQ:MSFT) is up 0.2% at last glance, cooling slightly from its early morning surge, after posting earnings of $4.89 per share on revenue of $92.28 billion, besting expectations. MSFT remains near the $525 floor, which has served as support for the shares since early October. The equity is testing its year-over-year breakeven level.

  • More than 250,000 contracts have been traded so far today, with investors eyeing the weekly 10/30 550- and 540-strike calls. There is a net positive delta volume of 4,638, with 50.1% of this accounting for bullish pressure.
