ZKH Group Limited (NYSE:ZKH), a China-based provider of maintenance, repair and operations (MRO) procurement services, has launched LingLong Insight 1.0, a multimodal artificial intelligence model developed in collaboration with Intel (NASDAQ:INTC).
The technology was created by ZKH’s artificial intelligence subsidiary, LingLong Intelligence, and presented at Intel Connection 2026 in Suzhou, China.
Designed for industrial procurement and supply management, the system combines image recognition, text analysis and specialised product knowledge to help workers verify incoming materials and identify discrepancies before accepting deliveries.
LingLong Insight 1.0 is intended to improve the accuracy and efficiency of goods receipt procedures in industrial environments.
The system uses industrial cameras to capture images of delivery documents, product packaging and identification labels. It then analyses the information and compares product specifications with the corresponding delivery records.
By identifying inconsistencies between delivered materials and purchasing documentation, the technology aims to reduce manual verification requirements and improve the reliability of supply acceptance processes.
The system is designed to assist employees with routine inspections, allowing potential discrepancies to be flagged before goods receipt is confirmed.
This approach could be particularly relevant for industrial businesses handling large quantities of components and materials with detailed technical specifications.
The model contains four billion parameters and operates through LingLong Agent Box hardware powered by Intel Core Ultra processors.
These processors combine central processing unit (CPU), graphics processing unit (GPU) and neural processing unit (NPU) capabilities to support artificial intelligence workloads.
Unlike systems that depend primarily on remote cloud infrastructure, LingLong Insight 1.0 processes information locally at industrial workstations.
This edge-computing approach reduces reliance on continuous cloud connectivity and enables verification tasks to be performed directly within operational environments.
The collaboration brings together Intel’s processing technology and LingLong Intelligence’s industrial AI capabilities to support practical applications in factories and warehouses.
According to ZKH, LingLong Insight 1.0 draws on a substantial collection of industrial product information accumulated over nearly three decades.
The company’s database includes more than 27 million product records and approximately four billion product parameters.
This information provides the model with specialised knowledge of industrial materials, components and product specifications.
By incorporating industry-specific data, the system is designed to recognise and compare technical details that may be difficult to verify using general-purpose artificial intelligence tools.
Yang Liu, Chief Technology Officer of ZKH Group and Chief Executive Officer of LingLong Intelligence, highlighted the importance of combining industrial expertise with local computing capabilities.
“Industrial artificial intelligence depends on the quality and depth of the knowledge supporting it,” Liu said. “Intel’s edge-computing technology allows us to bring that expertise directly into factories rather than relying solely on the cloud, supporting decisions where they are needed most.”
ZKH said LingLong Intelligence and Intel intend to continue expanding their collaboration in industrial artificial intelligence while exploring opportunities in international markets.
The companies are also considering additional applications for the technology beyond the initial goods receipt verification process.
LingLong Intelligence plans to extend the model’s capabilities to warehouse inbound and outbound inspections, where automated checks could help verify materials entering and leaving storage facilities.
Other proposed applications include production-line material verification and equipment maintenance.
These potential uses would broaden the technology’s role across industrial supply chains, from initial procurement and inventory handling to manufacturing operations and maintenance activities.
The introduction of LingLong Insight 1.0 represents an expansion of ZKH’s use of artificial intelligence within industrial procurement and supply management.
The system combines the company’s extensive product database with Intel’s edge-computing hardware to address verification tasks that traditionally require manual inspection.
The companies have outlined plans for further development and broader deployment, although the announcement did not disclose commercial pricing, customer adoption figures or financial expectations associated with the new product.
Future developments will depend on the technology’s implementation across industrial environments and the progress of the companies’ wider collaboration.
