Amazon (NASDAQ:AMZN) and Uber (NYSE:UBER) have announced a partnership allowing Amazon Prime members in the United States to receive restaurant deliveries through Uber Eats without paying delivery fees on qualifying orders placed through Amazon’s website or shopping app.
Under the agreement, Prime members can receive $0 delivery fees on restaurant orders of $25 or more. The service is available in nearly 10,000 US cities and towns, covering hundreds of thousands of restaurants participating in the Uber Eats network.
The companies also introduced promotional discounts for new orders and additional rewards for eligible Prime Visa cardholders.
The partnership integrates Uber Eats restaurant ordering into Amazon.com and the Amazon Shopping app, allowing Prime subscribers to access the delivery service without creating a separate Uber account.
Members can place orders using their existing Amazon login credentials and payment methods.
The $0 delivery fee benefit applies to qualifying restaurant orders with a minimum value of $25.
According to the companies, the service covers nearly 10,000 cities and towns across the United States, with access to hundreds of thousands of restaurants on the Uber Eats platform.
The arrangement adds restaurant delivery to the benefits available through Amazon Prime while providing Uber Eats with an additional ordering channel.
Amazon and Uber are offering promotional discounts to Prime members using the new service.
Eligible members can receive $20 off each of their first two Uber Eats restaurant orders of $25 or more.
The introductory offer is available during the first 14 days of eligibility.
In addition, Prime Visa cardholders can earn 5% back on all Uber Eats orders through December 5, 2026.
The companies estimated that the combined discounts and promotions could provide savings exceeding $175 annually for members with typical ordering patterns.
The estimate is based on order frequency data from August 2026, and actual savings will depend on individual ordering activity and use of the available offers.
The restaurant delivery benefit is available across all Amazon Prime membership categories.
This includes standard Prime subscriptions as well as Prime for Young Adults and Prime Access, which are offered at approximately half the standard membership price to eligible customers.
Prime subscribers can also share the delivery fee waiver with one additional adult household member through Amazon Family.
A standard Amazon Prime membership costs $14.99 per month or $139 annually.
The companies did not announce a separate subscription fee for accessing the Uber Eats delivery benefit through Prime.
Amazon said the arrangement is intended to provide Prime subscribers with an additional option for ordering restaurant meals.
“Whether it’s game night, family night, or date night, Prime’s new Uber Eats membership benefit makes getting dinner delivered even easier,” said Jamil Ghani, Worldwide Vice President of Amazon Prime.
Uber said the integration was developed to simplify restaurant ordering for existing Amazon subscribers.
“Together with Amazon, we built an experience for Prime members designed to make restaurant delivery feel as natural, convenient, and affordable as ordering anything else on Uber Eats,” said Andrew Macdonald, President and Chief Operating Officer of Uber.
The partnership combines Amazon’s Prime membership and shopping infrastructure with Uber Eats’ existing restaurant delivery network.
The agreement expands the range of services available to Amazon Prime members without requiring customers to establish separate Uber Eats accounts.
For Amazon, the integration introduces restaurant ordering through its existing digital platforms and adds another benefit to its subscription programme.
For Uber, the partnership creates an additional route for customers to access restaurants participating in its delivery network.
The companies have not disclosed financial terms of the agreement or provided projections for the number of orders expected through the integration.
The service is available to eligible Prime members across the participating US locations, subject to the qualifying order requirements and promotional conditions.
