Opera Ltd. (OPRA) Launches New Agentic Browser 'Opera Neon'

Opera Ltd (NASDAQ:OPRA) has achieved a significant milestone as it strives to reimagine what a standard browser can do. On May 28, the internet content & information company unveiled Opera Neon, its first fully agentic browser. Designed to assist with tasks, the new agentic browser gets things done faster and improves workflow automation.

Opera Neon is the outcome of two years of deep research that integrates AI tools and embraces the agentic web. It comes with a ‘chat’ feature that operates like a typical AI chatbot to enhance how people search the web and get contextual information.

Additionally, Opera Neon comes with a ‘Do’ feature that can do things online like fill forms, book a trip, or even go shopping on behalf of users. ‘Make’ is another feature that understands what users want to create, from new content to games and web apps.

The new Opera browser is invite-only with a waitlist where members can join for access. It’s also a subscription-based product awaiting the company's announcement of pricing tiers. The unveiling of Opera Neon affirms Opera's push to take on Alphabet’s Google, which has already integrated Gemini into Chrome with an agent mode.

Opera Limited is an Internet Content and Information company that provides mobile and PC web browsers and related products and services. It offers mobile browser products, such as Opera Mini, Opera browser for Android and iOS, and Opera GX for PCs and Mobile.
