iShares MSCI USA Equal Weighted ETF seeks to track the investment results of the MSCI USA Equal Weighted Index. The fund generally will invest at least 80% of its assets in the component securities of its underlying index and in investments that have economic characteristics that are substantially identical to the component securities of its underlying index. The index is an equally-weighted securities index that measures the performance of the large- and mid-capitalization segments of U.S. equity securities and which represents an alternative weighting scheme to its market capitalization-weighted parent index, the MSCI USA Index.
