First Trust NASDAQ-100-Technology Sector Index Fund seeks investment results that correspond generally to the price and yield (before the fund's fees and expenses) of an equity index called the NASDAQ-100 Technology Sector TM Index. The fund will normally invest at least 90% of its net assets (including investment borrowings) in the securities that comprise the index. The index is an equal-weighted index composed of the securities comprising the NASDAQ-100 Index that are classified as "technology" according to the Industry Classification Benchmark classification system.
