Nuveen Impact Bond ETF is an actively managed exchange-traded fund that invests at least 80% of its assets in fixed-income securities meeting Nuveen's proprietary Impact framework. The fund primarily targets investment-grade bonds across U.S. government securities, corporate bonds, taxable municipal securities, and mortgage-backed or asset-backed securities, while maintaining the flexibility to hold non-investment-grade high-yield debt and variable or floating rate instruments across any duration. The portfolio strategy combines bottom-up credit research and relative value selection with qualitative and quantitative assessment of positive social and environmental outcomes funded by bond proceeds, using the Bloomberg U.S. Aggregate Bond Index as its duration and performance benchmark.
