XFUNDS 1-3 Month BOX ETF is an actively managed exchange-traded fund that seeks to equal or exceed the price and yield performance of the 1-3 month sector of the United States Treasury Bill market. The fund executes its strategy by holding box spread combinations of synthetic long and short positions using standard exchange-listed or FLEX options on equity securities or equity indices to generate fixed returns upon expiration that match or exceed short-term Treasury Bill yields while eliminating reference asset valuation risk.
