The Barclays UK segment represents businesses that sit within the UK ring-fenced bank entity, Barclays Bank UK PLC, and comprises personal banking, business banking and Barclaycard consumer UK. The Barclays UK Corporate Bank segment focuses on bringing together lending, trade and working capital, liquidity, payments, and FX solutions for UK corporate clients. The Barclays Private Bank and Wealth Management segment serves UK and international private banking clients. The Barclays Investment Bank segment incorporates the global markets, investment banking, and international corporate banking businesses. The Barclays US Consumer Bank segment relates to co-branded credit card issuer and financial services partner in the United States. The Head Office segment comprises central support, central treasury operations, Barclays Execution Services assets and legacy businesses. The company was founded on 1690 and is headquartered in London, the United Kingdom.
