Principal Equity Premium Income ETF is an actively managed exchange-traded fund that invests primarily in a dividend-paying portfolio of U.S. and non-U.S. value equity securities across large and medium market capitalizations while overlaying a covered call options strategy. The fund sells covered call options and FLEX options on its portfolio holdings-typically 30-day options written 5% to 10% out of the money on up to 100% of underlying positions-to generate monthly cash distributions and manage downside price volatility.
