SuperCom Awarded $7 Million National Electronic Monitoring Contract in Germany

By PR Newswire | September 22, 2025, 9:00 AM

Strategic win displaces the over 20-year incumbent technology provider for Germany's national EM programs; Marks 9th nation to select SuperCom's domestic violence solution

TEL AVIV, Israel, Sept. 22, 2025 /PRNewswire/ -- SuperCom (NASDAQ: SPCB), a global provider of secured solutions for the e-Government, IoT, and Cybersecurity sectors, is pleased to announce that it has been awarded the national electronic monitoring (EM) contract in Germany. Under the contract, SuperCom will deploy its PureSecurity Electronic Monitoring (EM) Suite to support a broad range of public safety programs, including domestic violence monitoring, GPS tracking of offenders, home detention monitoring, and alcohol monitoring.

The contract was awarded through a competitive tender process involving multiple international vendors. The government agency running the program has been a longstanding pioneer in electronic monitoring in Europe for more than 25 years. The technology has been provided by the same vendor for over 20 years, with SuperCom now displacing this incumbent, marking a meaningful shift in the German electronic monitoring market. The total program budget is estimated at $7 million over a period of up to 4 years. Actual revenues recognized by SuperCom will depend on usage levels throughout the term.

"We are thrilled to announce winning the national electronic monitoring project in Germany, Europe's largest economy and one of the world's most advanced and demanding technology markets," commented Ordan Trabelsi, President and CEO of SuperCom. "Securing this award after a highly competitive process is a powerful validation of our technology and execution capabilities globally. This is more than a contract win, it is a strategic milestone that demonstrates how our PureSecurity Suite meets the highest standards for modern public safety solutions. We are honored to support Germany's evolving EM programs with our proprietary, field-proven technology."

"This award builds on our strong international momentum, including over 15 national EM project wins across Europe in recent years and more than 30 new contract wins in the U.S. in the past year alone," Trabelsi added. "Our experience in Europe shows that initial projects are often just the beginning, over time, they can expand and spark additional projects within the same country. While this new contract in Germany already spans four programs, we are also excited about the additional opportunities our technology can help unlock as needs evolve. We look forward to supporting Germany in this important project and further strengthening our role as a trusted partner to governments worldwide seeking innovative and effective public safety solutions," Trabelsi concluded.

SuperCom's PureSecurity Suite is a best-of-breed electronic monitoring platform offering a comprehensive set of features, including advanced GPS and RF tracking, anti-tamper mechanisms, multi-factor biometrics, secure communications, extensive historical data, seamless third-party system integration, and an ultra-lightweight ankle-bracelet with proprietary energy efficiency algorithms for long battery life.
