Radian Group (RDN) Reports Earnings Tomorrow: What To Expect

Mortgage insurance provider Radian Group (NYSE:RDN) will be reporting earnings this Tuesday after the bell. Here’s what you need to know.

Radian Group missed analysts’ revenue expectations by 1.9% last quarter, reporting revenues of $318 million, flat year on year. It was a slower quarter for the company, with a miss of analysts’ revenue estimates and a narrow beat of analysts’ EPS estimates.

This quarter, analysts are expecting Radian Group’s revenue to decline 4.9% year on year to $317.4 million, a reversal from the 6.8% increase it recorded in the same quarter last year. Adjusted earnings are expected to come in at $1.01 per share.

Analysts covering the company have generally reconfirmed their estimates over the last 30 days, suggesting they anticipate the business to stay the course heading into earnings. Radian Group has missed Wall Street’s revenue estimates five times over the last two years.

Looking at Radian Group’s peers in the property & casualty insurance segment, some have already reported their Q3 results, giving us a hint as to what we can expect. Stewart Information Services delivered year-on-year revenue growth of 19.1%, beating analysts’ expectations by 30.8%, and Skyward Specialty Insurance reported revenues up 27.1%, topping estimates by 14.3%. Stewart Information Services traded down 4.1% following the results while Skyward Specialty Insurance was up 1.4%.

Debates around the economy’s health and the impact of potential tariffs and corporate tax cuts have caused much uncertainty in 2025.
