On the earnings front, American Eagle Outfitters (AEO), Box (BOX), CrowdStrike (CRWD),C3.ai (AI), DocuSign (DOCU), Dollar General (DG), Dollar Tree (DLTR), Five Below (FIVE), GitLab (GTLB), Kroger (KR), Macy's (M),Marvell Technology (MRVL), Salesforce (CRM), Ulta Beauty (ULTA), and Victoria's Secret (VSCO) are scheduled to report.
Below is the schedule of key market events for the week ahead. All economic dates are tentative and subject to change. Please note that October jobs and inflation reports are cancelled, while November jobs data is delayed due to the government shutdown between Oct. 1 and Nov. 12.
The S&P final U.S. manufacturing purchasing managers index (PMI) is scheduled for Monday, Dec. 1, along with ISM manufacturing data.
Tuesday, Dec. 2, will bring auto sales data.
The ADP employment report is slated for release Wednesday, Dec. 3, along with the previously delayed import price index, S&P final U.S. services PMI, and ISM services data.
Regularly scheduled initial jobless claims data is due out Thursday, Dec. 4, in addition to a U.S. trade deficit update.
Friday, Dec. 5, features previously delayed personal spending and income data, as well as the personal consumption expenditures (PCE) price index and core PCE price index for September.
