B. Riley Analyst Craig Ellis Remains Bullish On Onto Innovation Inc. (ONTO)

According to TheFly, on November 18, 2025, B. Riley analyst Craig Ellis increased the company’s price objective for Onto Innovation Inc. (NYSE:ONTO) from $173 to $180. The analyst kept a Buy rating. The update came after the company finished acquiring Semilab International.

Onto Innovation Inc. (NYSE:ONTO) stated on November 17 that it had successfully closed the acquisition of important product lines from the materials analysis division of Semilab International. The FAaST®, CnCV®, and MBIR product lines are added to its portfolio in inline wafer contamination monitoring, materials characterization, and surface charge metrology through the $495 million transaction.

Onto Innovation Inc. (NYSE:ONTO) raised its fourth-quarter revenue estimates to $258-$275 million, with the purchase projected to add $8-10 million by January 3, 2026. The merger is anticipated to be immediately accretive, adding $0.02-$0.04 to diluted EPS in Q4, excluding purchase accounting. It is projected that the purchased product lines will generate around $120 million in sales in 2026, with the second half accounting for the majority of this amount.

Onto Innovation Inc. (NYSE:ONTO) designs, develops, produces, and supports high-performance control metrology, defect inspection, lithography, and data analysis systems for use by producers of microelectronic devices.
