"Verisk Analytics, Inc. (NASDAQ:VRSK) shares fell sharply after its second quarter of 2025 results, as slowing growth and the announcement of its largest acquisition in nearly a decade raised concerns about saturation in its core insurance data business. We view the slowdown as temporary, driven by tough year-over-year comparisons, and see the acquisition—though near-term dilutive—as a strong strategic fit that should enhance long-term organic growth."
