Apple Gears Up For 'Special Experience' Event On March 4: Here's What To Expect

By Namrata Sen | February 17, 2026, 6:55 AM

Apple Inc. (NASDAQ:AAPL) announced on Monday that it will hold an event on March 4 in New York, London, and Shanghai.

The iPhone maker issued invitations to select media members for a unique event, dubbed the “special Apple Experience.” The invite showcases a 3D Apple logo composed of yellow, green, and blue discs. The term “experience” has been used in place of the usual “event.”

Unlike Apple Park's typical live-streamed events, the March 4 gathering is expected to be more intimate. According to MacRumors, the company is expected to unveil multiple new products, such as the iPhone 17e, MacBook Pro featuring M5 Pro and M5 Max chips, eighth-generation iPad Air, 12th-generation iPad, and others.

Additional possible launches may include an updated Studio Display, a budget-friendly MacBook with the A18 chip, a new Apple TV, and a HomePod mini.

Apple’s Pipeline Of Major 2026 Launches

Earlier this year, Fitz-Gerald CIO Keith Fitz-Gerald suggested that Apple was preparing for a significant product launch this spring, reminiscent of the iPhone’s revolutionary form factor change.

Another report suggested that Apple would focus on premium iPhone launches in 2026, delaying the release of its standard model amid memory chip constraints.

Moreover, in November, reports indicated Apple’s plans to enter the low-cost laptop market with a new budget Mac. The device, codenamed J700, is being designed for students, businesses, and casual users. According to the report, Apple plans to release a budget Mac during the first half of 2026.
