Edible Garden AG Incorporated (NASDAQ:EDBL) is broadening its partnership with Walmart by expanding distribution of its fresh cut herbs to additional stores throughout the Mid-Atlantic region.
The company said the enlarged distribution program is scheduled to begin shipping products during the third quarter of 2026, increasing the availability of its fresh herb range to consumers across the region.
Expansion supports long-term growth plans
The latest rollout forms part of Edible Garden’s broader strategy to strengthen its retail presence and increase market penetration through major grocery partners.
“Growing our distribution with Walmart represents another meaningful step in executing our long-term growth strategy,” said Jim Kras, Chief Executive Officer of Edible Garden. “We’re pleased to broaden consumer access to our premium, fresh herbs while continuing to strengthen our relationship with one of the world’s leading retailers.”
The company expects the expanded footprint to improve product availability while reinforcing its relationship with Walmart.
Technology-driven farming model underpins operations
Headquartered in Belvidere, New Jersey, Edible Garden operates a network of controlled environment agriculture facilities designed to produce fresh herbs and other sustainably grown products.
Its cultivation process is supported by GreenThumb 2.0™, the company’s proprietary software platform, which monitors and manages growing conditions using data analytics and precision agriculture technologies across its farming network.
The technology is intended to improve production efficiency, maintain product quality and support consistent supply as the company continues expanding its retail distribution.
