Virtuix (NASDAQ:VTIX) announced the sale of its first Omni One Enterprise system to Tesla’s Optimus humanoid robot division, expanding the company’s presence in enterprise robotics and simulation applications.
Virtuix announced that Tesla has purchased its first Omni One Enterprise system for use by the company’s Optimus humanoid robot division.
According to Virtuix, Omni One Enterprise enables users to move naturally within immersive virtual environments while remaining inside a compact physical footprint. The system is designed for enterprise applications including training, simulation, and the teleoperation of humanoid robots, allowing operators to remotely control robotic systems in real time.
The company said the sale represents another milestone in its strategy to expand beyond consumer gaming into enterprise markets. Virtuix also pointed to previously announced collaborations involving Meta, NASA, and all four major branches of the U.S. military as evidence of broader adoption across multiple industries.
The sale represents an early commercial validation of Virtuix’s enterprise strategy, extending the company’s technology into the rapidly developing humanoid robotics market. While the company did not disclose the financial terms of the transaction, securing Tesla as an enterprise customer may strengthen the visibility of its platform among other organizations evaluating immersive training and robotics solutions.
The announcement also reinforces Virtuix’s diversification strategy. By targeting enterprise, defense, healthcare, research, and robotics applications alongside its consumer business, the company may reduce its reliance on a single end market while creating additional commercial opportunities for its simulation platform.
However, investors should note that the company disclosed only the sale of a single enterprise system and did not provide guidance regarding future orders, deployment scale, or expected financial impact.
