Virtuix Holdings (NASDAQ:VTIX) announced that its Omni One full-body movement platform has been integrated into a next-generation counter-drone training simulator that will be evaluated by the U.S. Marine Corps, further expanding the company’s presence in the defense training market.
Virtuix announced that its Omni One movement platform has been incorporated into LeadTech’s Counter-Unmanned Aircraft System (C-UAS) Personnel Trainer, an AI-enabled simulation platform designed to train military personnel to detect and engage hostile drones.
The system will be installed at the U.S. Marine Corps Training and Education Command (TECOM) in Quantico, Virginia, where teams from Marine Corps Air Ground Combat Center Twentynine Palms and Marine Corps Base Camp Pendleton will evaluate it for potential future training applications.
The simulator recreates military training ranges as digital twins, allowing personnel to navigate realistic environments while practicing counter-drone tactics using full-body movement, simulated communications, realistic ballistics, and coordinated squad operations.
The announcement builds on several recent defense milestones cited by the company, including its role as lead integrator for a U.S. Marine Corps virtual fireteam trainer, a U.S. Air Force SBIR Phase I award, a U.S. Navy development agreement, and deployments with the U.S. Army and Air National Guard.
The latest deployment further strengthens Virtuix’s strategy of expanding beyond gaming into defense and enterprise simulation markets.
Military organizations continue investing in virtual training technologies that can improve readiness while reducing the cost and logistical complexity of live exercises. By combining unrestricted full-body movement with AI-driven simulation, Virtuix aims to differentiate its technology from conventional virtual reality training systems.
Although the announcement does not disclose contract value or expected revenue, continued adoption across multiple branches of the U.S. military may support the company’s credibility within the defense sector and could create opportunities for additional training programs if evaluations lead to broader deployment.
Investors will likely monitor the outcome of the U.S. Marine Corps evaluation and whether it leads to expanded deployments or procurement opportunities. Additional defense contracts, military partnerships, and broader adoption of Omni One across government and enterprise training applications will also be important indicators of the company’s commercial progress.
