Bending Spoons Agrees $1.29 Billion Cash Acquisition of Airtable

Bending Spoons S.p.A. (NASDAQ:BSP) announced on Tuesday that it has reached a definitive agreement to acquire enterprise workflow software company Airtable in an all-cash transaction valued at $1.285 billion.

Including outstanding debt, the agreement places Airtable’s total enterprise value at approximately $2.25 billion.

First Acquisition Since Nasdaq Debut

The acquisition marks Bending Spoons’ first major transaction since the company began trading on the Nasdaq on July 1.

The deal continues the group’s strategy of expanding its portfolio of technology businesses. Bending Spoons currently operates as the parent company of several well-known digital brands, including AOL and Eventbrite.

Airtable Strengthens Enterprise Software Portfolio

Airtable is a privately held software company based in San Francisco, California, specialising in enterprise workflow and collaboration solutions.

Its platform enables organisations to build customised workflows and manage projects without requiring extensive technical expertise, making it a popular tool for businesses seeking flexible operational software.

The acquisition is expected to strengthen Bending Spoons’ presence in the enterprise software market while adding another established technology platform to its growing collection of digital businesses.
