Banzai International, Inc. (NASDAQ:BNZI) has unveiled plans to change its corporate name to Parabolic Technologies, Inc., after its board approved the proposal. The rebranding remains subject to shareholder approval at a forthcoming special meeting.
While awaiting the shareholder vote, the company intends to operate under the trading name “Parabolic.”
New Nasdaq ticker symbols set for August
If the transition proceeds as planned, the company’s Class A common shares and warrants will begin trading on the Nasdaq Capital Market under the new ticker symbols PARA and PARAW on August 7, 2026.
These will replace the current trading symbols BNZI and BNZIW.
To complete the process, Banzai will submit a proxy statement to the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission before asking shareholders to approve the corporate name change.
Business reorganised into three operating divisions
Alongside the proposed rebranding, the company is restructuring its operations into three dedicated business units.
ConnectAndSell will focus on AI-powered sales acceleration and will be led by President and General Manager Jonti McLaren.
The Banzai division will oversee the Demio and OpenReel platforms under President and General Manager Matt McCurdy.
Meanwhile, CreateStudio will become the company’s AI-driven video content creation business, headed by General Manager David Abrams.
Management outlines long-term strategy
Founder and Chief Executive Officer Joe Davy said: “Our proposed name change to Parabolic represents more than a new brand. This change reflects where we believe the future of software is headed, and the path to strategic growth through investment in high potential businesses.”
The company said its customer base now exceeds 150,000 organisations, including Amazon, Dell, Salesforce and Fitch Group.
